More MLA convention

I've got a shot here of me with my poster. This was a great experience, I got a chance to present on the three electronic journal management systems our University has worked with, EBSCO's A-Z, TDNet, and Serials Solutions. It was great to work with all three, and all three vendors were very helpful in helping me prepare. The second shot is of the opening of the exhibit hall. We had some native dancers come and they performed for us. It was a good welcome to Phoenix!

MLA Convention in Phoenix, AZ

I'm posting a few pictures from my trip to the MLA national meeting in Phoenix, AZ. This first picture is of the Arizona Republic building. We were in Downtown Phoenix, and I would describe the weather as like a sauna, but breezy. I've also got a picture of a really cool looking church, this was the first Catholic Church in Phoenix. I made sure to stay hydrated, even having experienced the high heat and humidity of Mobile did not prepare me for the extreme dry heat of Phoenix.

Funny Site

Yesterday Samantha and I bought a new book, entitled "Bad Cat." This is truly funny, and on top of that, the author has a website full of crazy cat pictures!
